Jeffs got a better memory than I do! I didnt recall the name because, after Jordan Merson decided his vacation was more important than his client, he turned the trial over to three young attorneys in his office (younger brother Matthew Merson, Nathan Werksman & Kimberly Kramer) who played tag team throughout the trial. Werksman was said to be, and probably was, the most experienced of the three, but I cant say I was terribly impressed and the case ended up with a 5-1 defense verdict.
FWIW, the case was Lancia v. Good Samaritan Hospital, et al. (035690/2016) and was tried in Rockland County in March 2023.
I wouldnt think anyone trying the case from Heidells Office would be seriously concerned about Nathan. Its a BIG step down from Jordan to anyone else in his firm.
