Hello everyone,
As a member of the publications committee, and incoming President of the Association for Healthcare Risk Management of New York (AHRMNY), we are looking for anyone who may be interested in submitting an article for publication in AHRMNYs Risk Management Quarterly Journal.
This publication is published throughout the year with a distribution of approximately 300 copies per issue.
The mission of the organization, and the journal, in general, is to enhance the quality of healthcare through education, research, professional practice, and analysis specific to risk management issues.
We are seeking articles related to risk management, patient safety, insurance, quality improvement, medicine, healthcare law, government regulations etc.
We are also interested in publishing short stories/comments on how risk management issues may have affected litigation, either in motion practice or trial, etc.
(Risk managers and practitioners like to hear how risk management issues actually play out in the courtroom).
In any event, if you are interested in publishing an article, or if you have an interesting story about a recent trial that we could include in a section about litigation/trial outcomes, please contact me.
